Beyond research, painting and poetry have long been part of my life. In 2026, I began setting aside a few minutes each day for Chinese calligraphy. Each of these pursuits is, in its own way, an exploration of space, form, and rhythm.

Perhaps this is why I am especially drawn to urban and spatial economics: they reveal how economic forces take shape in space. I hope my research can be both imaginative and consequential--grounded in real-world questions, yet shaped by theoretical elegance. Below is a small selection of recent work, which I will continue to update alongside my academic research.
